A stunning dusky pink star ruby cabochon stone set into individual bezel setting with a half moon with chains set below the stone to give movement to these earrings.  The half moons have been deep hammered to give sparkle.  The earrings have a pin and butterfly stud fitting to the reverse of the stone

Star rubies are deeper and more dense than faceted rubies.  The layers in the stone produces a star of light when put under a strong light.  The structure of each stone can be clearly seen
